Why is "In God We Trust" removed from the new dollar coin? I received one of the coins today and I cannot read it on the edging. By the way, I do not wear bi-focals and have 20/20 vision. I'm serious, this print is so tiny. http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/$1coin/index.cfm?action=EdgeIncuse d
Are any of you refusing the coins when you get one? Mine came out of a vending machine or I would have!!

I looked at the link you provided. It definitely shows a coin that says "In God We Trust."

It's a mistake.. afew left the mint with out the saying... don't spend it !!!!!..it's going to be a collectors item.
It's reported to be getting up to $100 now...but...
The first one sold for $600 before everyone knew how common they actually were...They’re going for around $40 to $60 on eBay now, and they’ll probably settle in the $50 range.

It is on the edge of the coin. By the way it doesn't really belong on our money in the first place. I would be more than fine with them removing it from all our money. It wasn't even on our money until the 1950's.

This new coin is only temporary,it will last about as long as the Susan B dollar.They probably didn't have room for that on it.Also the Government is working with Canada,and Mexico on making the Aero dollar.Just like Europe made the Euro. Many don't know this ,but that is one reason they are not making a big fuss over immigration.

The coins without 'In God we trust' are just a temporary release. They will be withdrawn from circulation by June, when they plan to release coins with 'In Bush we trust'. It is more accurate, after all.

It is on it,and you can easily see it.
About 50,000 to 100,000 of the coins were circulated accidentally before the were engraved, and they have been sold for a good price online.
